party and bullshit

Kind of in line with my previous post, I'm in the mood for a party. I'm talking like music so loud I can barely tell what's playing, crowded keg rooms, red cups littering the floor and that glorified exchange of germs fondly referred to as "pong." Anybody know where I can find one of those on an Army base in Italy because, if so, let me knowwww!

Actually, I'm just kind of starved for company at this point. Military bases, especially overseas, aren't exactly known for their large populations of recently graduated college students...at least not ones that didn't sign up to wear that oh so flattering camo pattern. I have yet to meet anybody my age who's over here with their parents. I hope I don't sound ungrateful because I know that I have been given SUCH an opportunity but I do wish I had somebody to go museum hopping with that isn't in high school or already has children of their own.

Although, you know, there is something to be said for exploring Europe on your own...

blegh

Ugh. It's been like 2 weeks and I'm still sick. This is getting ridiculous. Like I barely even have a voice at this point. Got to class today and my professor made me give an impromtu presentation in front of the class. NOT OKAY PROFESSOR. that is a sick and twisted joke. It was actually an embarassment how badly I did at that. Regardless of that, though, I actually had a really great weekend! Remember how I said my roommates and I were throwing a party? Yeah that was a rousing success on all accounts. Best way to know you threw a good party: no one really knows what happened the morning after. On Friday, my school had Relay for Life and one of my really good friends was dj-ing so, of course, we had to stop by. They had so much free food. Things I love: free food. 3 words for Saturday: America, Fuck Yeah. Had a theme party with SAE but I just wasn;t feeling it so my roommate and I left to go to a not America where people were a little confused by the American flag that I was wearing a dress haha. How was everybody else's weekend?

it is better to have raged and lost than to have never raged at all. tfm.

It's just going to be one of those weeks...I can tell. One of those weeks where even though nothing is technically wrong, the whole thing just feels a little bit off. Is there a cure for those kinds of weeks yet because if so, holla at yo gurlllll. I've been trying to change the mood of the week byyyyy
  • painting my nails a super BRIGHT color

not my hands but pretty much the same polish color
  • making soup from scratch
also not my actual soup. you know this because i have prettier bowls
  • wearing super dressy outfits

on mondays, we wear black
  • wearing super NOT dressy outfits

please notice that both my dressy and not dressy outfits showcase serious black.

  • watching laser light shows at my friends' place (having dj friends is fun!)

finally...actually our laser shows
  • eating suuuuuper sour apples
  • and my favorite....spending way too much time on my new favorite website, Total Frat Move.

Seriously though. I DIE for TFM (as insider's call it). Read it! Although warning do not read it if you are a sensitive, easily offended boring person (just kidding...you're not boring). This website has a very specific audience so keep that in mind! warning over I personally don't think the TSMs on the site are as funny as the TFMs but they're still definitely true....I def have some girls like that in my sorority. Sad but true.

At this rate, the week will be over before I know it!

fratdragon

I never realized how many fratty music websites there are! I accidentally misspelled my favorite mix-up/mash-up/fratastic playlist site (fratmusic ftw although fratstars is coming up fast (LOVE their christmas mix! who knew there was such a thing as dubstep Christmas music!?)) when I was typing it in earlier and google search pulled up literally 5 different pages where I could get my frat on. ANYWAYS when I was checking out all my options, I found a new graduation song that's a much more upbeat option to Vitamin C's graduation anthem. Not that I don't love the classic tear jerker but variety is the spice of life!

Spent my day looking up governmental internships down in the DC area and making lists about getting my life together. Fun times...really.
