I have been loving Italian radio lately! I drive to and from post at least twice a day so that's a good hour a half in the car everyday and I go crazy if I don't have music playing constantly. I have like three favorite radio stations here and I go between them constantly. They all play a good amount of songs that I would hear back in the states, along with more Italian songs. My favorite part is that radio here has a bit more of a club-y, electronic sound than the stations I listened to in Maryland. Here are a few songs that I've been hearing everyday on my way to pick up the bro-seph from school. I feel like I'm going to get back to the States and have no clue what all the cool hip new songs are!
Cinema | Ben Benassi
Stereo | Stereo Touch
Still My Baby | Wolfgang Gartner ft. Omarion
The Golden Age | The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
Get Back | Alexandra Stan

oh. my. god. never have I ever been attracted to Adam Levine until I saw this video for Maroon 5's new song, "Moves Like Jagger." Not my usual type at all but he should just never ever wear a shirt again...ever.

A new weekend always means a new playlist for me. Here are some of the songs that have been on repeat on the pod all week long....perfect for lounging poolside, running a few laps or driving with the windows down
I Know How to Say |3OH!3 (this album was basically all I listened to last summer)
Taylor's Beach House | Yoni
Cry (Just a Little) | Bingo Players (radio mix)
#whitegirlproblems | Hoodie Allen (his entire new EP is available for a free download)
Perform This Way | Al Yankovic (sorry I'm not sorry that I love Weird Al)
Summer Girl | Leighton Meester
Shake | Jesse McCartney (Jesse will never be not cool to me)
Knee Deep | Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett (if this isn't the ultimate in summer then I don't know what is)

A lot of factors go into the making of a perfect summer, but the one that I always think really defines a summer is the playlist. There's just something about certain songs that really just transport me right back to a certain time in my life. Like M.I.A's Paper Planes will never NOT remind me of the very end of my freshman year and I have to bust out my pc's dance to Bottoms Up literally the second it comes on. I've been trying to come up with the perfect playlist for this summer, such an important and transitional period in my life and I'm glad there are so many contenders out there for my favorites right now. Here are some of the songs that I've been listening to on repeat for the past few weeks.
Lemonade - Daniel Revel Miller
Stereo Hearts - Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine
The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa
Till Death - Wynter Gordon
Rolling in the Deep (Remix) - Adele ft. Childish Gambino
Cinema - Benny Benassi (Skrillex Remix)
Young, Wild and Free - Wiz Khalifa ft. Snoop Dogg
Any suggestions? I love hearing new music!

okay okay i'm back! I know that I have been seriously neglecting my tiny segment of the blogosphere and I'm really sorry for that. Another thing that I'm not sorry for? Not doing that 30 day challenge anymore. It was kind of cramping my style so sorry I'm not sorry. I'm sure you guys will really miss it....not.
I honestly had more work last week than I've had all semester. To be fair, I didn't have THAT much comparatively but since I've had pretty much all 100 level courses senior year, I've kind of forgotten how to do real work. But not to worry, all that nonsense is done for a while. This is my last week of classes before Spring Break and I'm pumped! I don't actually have any plans except to sleep lots, eat more and catch up on my shows but really...what else does a girl need? Honestly, I've always wanted to do one of those stupid stereotypical spring breaks but I never actually got around to it so whatever haha.
I have been playing this song on REPEAT for the past two weeks. The video is super weird but I think I kind of like it....don't judge. (although those last 3 seconds are realllll strange...you can judge that part)
I promise that I'll be posting more often so don't hate me please!

tick-tock-tights

Have you ever tried to "artfully" rip tights? You know, when you make them look all holey and full of runs the way all the cool kids on the block wear them? No? Well don't. Turns out that shit is waaaaay harder than it looks. I got a run in a pair of my black tights during class on Friday and instead of just throwing them out, I decided to use them to make myself a cool, urban, grungy, "I-wish-I had-her-outfit" type of outfit. It took my roommate and I literally 3 youtube videos and an intensive google search to get anything that even semi-resembled cool. At one point, I simply had to hand the (safety) scissors over to my roommate and allow her to do her thing. They were worth it by the end of the night even though everyone I saw Friday night had NO idea what to make of my outfit. I kept them to try the look again later but I can't imagine how I'm going to get back into those things....there are WAY too many holes at this point haha.
In other news, new Lonely Island video!

Trying to make sure my schedule for next semester is absolutely perfect. Last semester, I had Mondays and Fridays off (4 day weekend...EVERY weekend) but no way am I getting that lucky this year. To make up for it, I've decided to take East Asian Studies 101 and a class about musicals because how hard can they be? Pray to God, those aren't famous last words...
Anyways, I know that I'm waaay behind the curve on this but I finally downloaded the new Girl Talk mixtape and I am in HEARTS with it. He actually came to my school the spring of my sophomore year and I'm still mad at myself for not going...everyone who went had such an awesome time. Actually that seems to be a habit of mine because Wiz Khalifa and Chiddy Bang both came last spring and I didn't go to those either. I'm only slightly bitter but whatever. Seriously though this album is the bomb dot com and you can still get it so I suggest you download it here right this very second if you haven't already. Also, another artist that I found this summer but forgot about until last night is Hoodie Allen. Listen to this and then tell me you don't want to hear more.
What? You want more, you say? Well good thing his album is still free too! Download that bad boy here.

GAHHH! I am seriously stressing out right now! The zipper on my new woolen Michael Kors winter jacket got stuck recently so I turned to Google to help me figure out how to fix it. Turns out I got a little overzealous because now the zipper is completely and totally broken! Think I could get it fixed at a local dry-cleaners? I really do need a new dark winter coat because I accidentally ripped the pocket off my last one (I'm starting to sense a pattern here...) so now I don't know what to do. Balls.
On a more fun note, I'm really into house music and techno recently. Take a listen!
